Dr. Dennis Trent Dr. Trent has over 43 years of experience in vaccine research and regulatory development. A past professor at Brigham Young University and the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, he has served as Branch Chief and Acting Director at the Division of Vector-Borne Infectious Diseases,Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Director of the Division of Viral Products at FDA/CBER; and has held senior vaccine research and development and regulatory affairs positions at Sanofi Pasteur, Vaxin, and Acambis. Dr. Hansi Dean Dr. Dean has more than 15 years of experience in vaccine development and currently works with the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative. Dr. Dean has held senior vaccine development positions at PowderJect Vaccines, Endorex, Schering-Plough, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She received her Ph.D. from Northwestern University Medical School.
Scientific Advisory BoardDr. Duane J. Gubler Dr. Gubler was formerly Director of the Division of Vector-Borne Infectious Diseases of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and has held positions at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, the US Naval Medical Research Unit No 2, and University of Illinois. He has served as consultant to the World Health Organization and many other national and international health agencies. Dr. Gubler received his Sc.D. at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Joseph McCune Dr. McCune currently serves as Professor of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Experimental Medicine, and Senior Associate Dean of Clinical and Translational Research in the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco. He previously held positions at the Gladstone Institute and co-founded SyStemix (acquired by Novartis). Dr. McCune received his M.D. from Cornell College of Medicine and his Ph.D. from Rockefeller University. Dr. Barry Beaty Dr. Beaty is a University Distinguished Professor at Colorado State University and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology and a member of the National Academy of Sciences. He was the founder and Director of the Rocky Mountain Regional Center of Excellence in Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases and is now Director of the CSU Infectious Disease Supercluster. Dr. Beaty received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. |
