Partnerships

Inviragen has an innovative business model that emphasizes global collaboration and partnerships to bring its novel vaccines to the worldwide marketplace.

With its company headquarters located in Fort Collins, Colorado, Inviragen is in close proximity to the Division of Vector-Borne Infectious Diseases of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Colorado State University (CSU). Inviragen licensed dengue and West Nile vaccine technology from the CDC and has active collaborations with both CDC and CSU scientists.

Inviragen is a member of the Rocky Mountain Regional Center of Excellence (RMRCE) for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Disease Research. The RMRCE is assisting Inviragen with preclinical testing and GMP manufacturing of Inviragen's West Nile vaccine.

An additional Inviragen office is located near the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. Inviragen is collaborating with leading infectious disease researchers at University of Wisconsin on research and development of Inviragen vaccines.

Inviragen has built an international consortium of scientists to accelerate the preclinical and clinical testing of its dengue vaccine, DENVax. Production of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-quality supplies of DENVax is made possible through a partnership with Shantha Biotechnics Ltd, in Hyderabad, India. Shantha, one of India's leading vaccine manufacturers, was the first to develop, manufacture and introduce a recombinant DNA product in India. Shantha manufactures and sells WHO-certified vaccines worldwide.

Preclinical testing of DENVax is being performed through collaborations with the CDC and University of Wisconsin. Clinical testing and introduction of DENVax will be facilitated by a strategic partnership with the Pediatric Dengue Vaccine Initiative (PDVI). PDVI, a program of the International Vaccine Institute headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, has been funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation and the government of the Republic of Korea. The PDVI mission is to ensure access to dengue vaccines in developing countries.

Inviragen's collaborations will significantly speed the development of emerging infectious disease vaccines. Inviragen's international partners will facilitate the manufacturing and introduction of the vaccines where they are needed most.

Please contact Inviragen if you are interested in partnering opportunities.
